G Loomis 9' #8 Cross Current

This rod is unbelievable. True it is not suitable for beginners or those with limited casting experience due to the speed of the blank. Its not very forgiving and if you make a mistake casting you know about it. However, if you like super fast rods with plenty of power then you won't go far wrong. It can cast a full line in any wind condition and can cast huge flies easily. We use these for all our carp, pike and saltwater trips and they have never let us down. The finish throughout is top class, we especially like the G Loomis fish on the reel seat. The only down side is the expense, they retail around the £580 mark. Due to this one flaw we give this
